அரசு ஊழியர்கள் /ஆசிரியர்கள் வங்கிகளில் SGSP (State Government Salary Package) கணக்கு தொடங்குவதால் ஏற்படும் நன்மைகள் குறித்து அரசு இணைச் செயலாளரின் கடிதம்! 
I am directed to enclose a copy of the references cited above, and to state that the Director of Treasuries and Accounts has informed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with seven leading banks, State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, and Canara Bank, has been executed in pursuance of the announcement made by the Hon'ble Minister for Finance and Environment and Climate Change in the Budget speech 2025-26. 0 2 3 2. It is informed that the empanelled banks have agreed to provide the following benefits free of cost to employees of State Government Departments, State PSUs, and Statutory Boards: i. Term Life Insurance - ₹10 lakh coverage ii. Personal Accident Insurance - 100 lakh coverage iii. Educational Assistance - For children of employees in case of death due to accident iv. Marriage Assistance - For unmarried daughters of deceased employees 3. In this regard, you are requested to encourage the employees / Staff workers under your administrative control to port their salary accounts to the empanelled banks to avail themselves of the benefits and concessions outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding and to take necessary action to (a) disseminate this information widely among all employees serving under your organization to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out of the proposed coverage and (b) consider permitting the empanelled banks to organise melas, awareness camps and outreach campaigns within your office premises to promote the scheme and facilitate employee onboarding.
